CARVOLT reads the high-voltage battery of any EV or hybrid directly through the OBD port — and turns it into a verifiable battery certificate within minutes. On the spot, without opening up the car.
No disassembly, no waiting for days — the test is done on location while you watch.
The reader plugs into the OBD port — the same connector every garage uses. Ignition on and the connection is live.
CARVOLT asks the car's battery management system directly: health (SOH), capacity, cell voltages, temperature and mileage.
A professional report right away, with the source of every value and a QR code that lets anyone verify its authenticity.
Every certificate shows where each value comes from: straight from diagnostics, from the factory specification, or calculated. No estimates sold as measurements.
The number that matters most: how much of the original battery capacity is left. With a clear verdict and colour scale.
Usable capacity, pack voltage, highest and lowest cell voltage and cell balance — the earliest warning signs of a problem.
Any buyer scans the QR code and instantly sees whether the paper matches the registered measurement. Tampering shows up immediately.
Three recent measurements from this month — all values come straight from the cars. Licence plate and VIN are of course left out.
Buying, selling, trade-in or end of lease: one test prevents expensive surprises.
Know what you buy and sell with proof. Regular customers get their own portal: read out yourself, create certificates and monthly overviews per vehicle.
Know the battery condition of the fleet before renewal or sale. Multiple cars per day, all reports stored per vehicle.
Eyeing a used EV or selling your own? One test gives certainty — with a certificate the buyer can verify themselves.
Three ways to judge the battery of a used EV — and what you really end up holding.

Market research across Europe keeps showing the same thing: an EV with a battery certificate sells faster and brings in hundreds of euros more. One measurement pays for itself.

Adapter in the OBD port, ignition on, connect — the test takes a few minutes.
Print right away or share digitally with your buyer — with your own company logo on it.
The battery determines most of a used EV's value. With your own kit you know exactly what you're buying, and you sell with proof instead of promises — less discussion, faster sales, protected margins. Certificates carry your own company logo and can be verified by any buyer via the QR code.
55 brands in the system, with verified readout methods for among others:
State of Health: how much of the original battery capacity is left. A 55 kWh battery at 90% SOH can still store about 49.5 kWh. It is THE number for the value of a used EV.
A few minutes per car. The adapter goes into the OBD port, the battery is read out and the certificate is ready immediately — print or share digitally.
No. The test runs entirely through the diagnostic (OBD) connector every car has. We only read — nothing is changed.
Every certificate carries a QR code. Scanning it instantly shows the certificate number and the measured health — if that doesn't match the paper, something is wrong.
Yes — that is exactly what the kit is for. You order the OBD2 adapter once, get your own account in the customer portal and then create certificates yourself, as often as you like. Your own company logo appears on every certificate.
You choose what suits you: a credit (for example 10 or 25 readouts — each test uses one) or unlimited use. Your remaining credit is always shown at the top of the portal, and topping up is one message away.
That depends on the number of cars. Send a message with your situation (one car, stock or ongoing) — you will quickly receive a suitable proposal.
Above 90% is excellent. Between 80 and 90% is good — normal for a car that is a few years old. Between 70 and 80% you clearly notice less range, and below 70% the battery is nearing the end: that should be reflected in the price. Also weigh age and mileage — 85% on an eight-year-old car is fine, on a two-year-old car it is a warning.
No, it is not (yet) legally required. But more and more buyers and dealers ask for it, because the battery is the most expensive part of the car. A certificate prevents discussions afterwards and increases trust — and with it, often the selling price.
CARVOLT is also a certified repair specialist for electric and hybrid car batteries. Often it is not the whole pack that is worn out but a single module — that saves thousands of euros. A complete pack is possible too: refurbished or new, with up to 3 years warranty.
Have one test done, or get started yourself with the kit and your own account — send a message and it's ready the same day.
