What data do we store?
- Contact and account data — name, company name, e-mail address, address and phone number, when you contact us or have an account in the customer portal
- Vehicle measurement data — chassis number (VIN), mileage and battery values; these belong to the battery certificate
- Functional preferences — your language choice and your cookie choice, stored in your own browser
What do we use it for?
Only to provide our service: reading out batteries, issuing certificates and keeping them verifiable (QR check), making your account work and sending you a PIN code or a reply by e-mail. We do not use your data for advertising and never sell it to third parties.
Cookies
This website only uses functional cookies and browser storage: for your language choice, to stay logged in to the customer portal and to remember your cookie choice. There are no tracking cookies and no third-party cookies.
How long do we keep data?
We keep account data for as long as your account is active. We keep certificate and measurement data for as long as needed to keep issued certificates verifiable. For invoices, the statutory retention obligation of the tax authorities applies.
Your rights
You may always view, correct or delete your data. Send an e-mail to info@sohbattery.com — you will receive a reply within 30 days. If you are not satisfied, you can file a complaint with the supervisory authority in your country.
Security
The connection to this website is encrypted (https). Customer data is kept behind access codes with a Dutch hosting provider, and PIN codes are only stored in encrypted form.
